Bring your pup and join Park Guide Jess for a casual one-hour walk through Alderwood Park on Saturday, June 20 from 2-3 pm. It’s free, drop-ins are welcome and the pace will be easygoing for dogs of all ages and sizes.

We’ll walk rain or shine on a mix of paved and uneven surfaces, so dress for the weather and bring your leash.

Today is the last day to purchase tickets for Dine We Must, Fort Nisqually Living History Museum's whimsical farm-to-table dinner on Friday, June 26.

Inspired by the words of Isabella Beeton: “Dine we must, and we may as well dine elegantly…” this special evening invites guests to explore the Fort’s historic buildings, enjoy appetizers and a cash bar supporting the Fort Nisqually Foundation, try a 19th-century craft, play a game, snap a few photos and settle in for a memorable dinner.

Heads up Eastside basketball players! To create a safe and fun atmosphere during open gym basketball, the following changes will be in effect every Sunday, beginning Sunday, June 7.

Sunday Open Gym
🏀9 am - 12 pm: All ages
🏀12 - 3 pm: Competitive play. Ages 18 and older only unless approved by staff.

The Teen Center will be open and staffed every Sunday from 12-3 pm, to accommodate youth who are present but cannot play basketball
