Hibernation is finally feeling like it's ending. We had beautiful weather here in Washington this weekend and got to get our toes in the warm sand on a sunny day!

Cheers to 2025!
I'm beyond grateful for the love and support Fyreocity received this year. I had some amazing opportunities that I never would have thought would transpire in my creative journey. I pushed my creative limits to design so many new pieces and I still have an insane amount yet to explore. I got to meet so many wonderful people that share my love of glass and the ocean. I cherish the new connections made, including those with other artists in our Tacoma community.
Well it's hard to pick one moment of the year as my highlight, I will say that my favorite accomplishment is that I finally launched my website after years of promising myself " I'll do it next year". From someone who used to be a web designer, this should have been easy to establish. Maybe that's why it was challenging - I had high expectations to live up to. And I worked very hard for everything I got to experience this year and I'm looking forward to a few restful weeks to recharge.
Regardless of whether you accomplished something or nothing this year, you made it your own. Thank you all and cheers to 2025! I'm manifesting an amazing 2026 stage and every one of you.

I'm so excited for this event on Saturday 5-9 at the Museum of Glass!
There will be Tacoma Yacht Club's lighted boat parade, fire pits, and with admission to the museum: gallery tours, hot shop, and shopping local makers as well as in the museum gift shop. See you Saturday!

My first Christmas market of the season is this Sunday, November 30th at the Tacoma Armory with the Tacoma Sunday Market. Can't wait to see you!

Happy World Manta Ray Day!
I made my first stained glass manta ray in 2023 (image 3). And while my design has evolved since then, the sparkly gem at the tail remains a constant feature in the design. It refracts rainbows when the light hits it to make a small yet fun surprise.
I hope to see one of these beauties in real life someday!
