I was invited to photograph this new family last weekend. Yesterday, I delivered their gallery.

It’s the first time I have picked up my camera for client work in two years.
It’s been a long time, and it felt so special (and slightly terrifying) to be behind the camera capturing moments for others.

Always grateful for the trust of my clients.

Hey hey hey!
Does anyone even follow this account any more? It’s been at least two years since I was consistent about posting here.
Where’d I go?
In May of 2019, just after PRing a half marathon, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I spent the rest of the year, and the first quarter of 2020 getting written on with sharpie (doctors love their sharpie art), getting poked with needles, and being overwhelmed with the love and generosity of family, friends and strangers.
I underwent 20weeks of chemo, surgery (a double mastectomy with aesthetic flat closure), and something like 30 rounds of radiation.

At the tail end of radiation treatment, Covid hit and, well, we all know the story of 2020….

I still love photography, but have slowed way down in my day to day capturing and client work. My weekends have switched from weddings and portrait sessions to running and spending time with my family. You can follow along with those adventures at .little.a.lot.yoga

Am I still booking clients? Yup! But at a very limited rate. If you would like to work together, let’s talk!

It’s this doodle’s 1st Birthday today.

He loves barking at his mini schnauzer, eating pizza and sticks of butter off the counter, playing with the kids, running like a maniac at the dog park, taking long walks or runs with his humans.
He’s super not sure about swimming, but cracks us up with the sprinkler.
He’s SO FLUFFY when he isn’t freshly groomed, and has the sweetest way of snuggling by burrowing his head as far into your lap as possible.
We love you Sputter-butt! Happy berfday!
