Meet our Social Media Handler, Janae Hill! ☀️
Hello folks! I'm Janae. I'm the one behind Spaceworks's social media! I'm a recent graduate from the University of Puget Sound where I majored in creative writing and minored in communications. I first got involved with Spaceworks when I was their intern in summer 2025 through the University of Puget Sound's SFI program. I'm happy to be back! In my free time, I like to write.
It's been an honor working for an organization that means so much to me and the Tacoma community. And, it's been a pleasure getting to meet and engage with you all!
Looking forward to more! Until next time!

Earlier this month, we had the opportunity to take .multicultural.society on a downtown public art tour, and we had the best time exploring the downtown core together! 🎨✨
From murals to public installations, we shared stories behind the artwork and talked about how collaborations come together between artists, organizations, businesses, and community partners to activate public spaces in meaningful ways.
It’s always exciting to connect with students and share how public art can shape culture, create dialogue, and strengthen community. Thank you to the UWT Milgard Multicultural Society for spending the afternoon with us and engaging so thoughtfully with the work and the stories behind it!
