Volunteers are the heart of RGC, helping create an amazing experience for thousands of attendees while getting a behind the scenes look at what it takes to bring the convention to life.

Panelists have the opportunity to share their gaming passions, expertise, stories, and creativity with our incredible community.

🏨✨ Traveling from out of town, or just want a place to crash after our epic after party this October? Join us at our primary hotel partner, the Marriott Downtown Syracuse! It's a historic upscale hotel near the convention center, with a fantastic restaurant & bar, and clean and comfortable rooms.

We’re once again proud to march in the 2026 CNY Pride Parade at Progress Park in the Syracuse Inner Harbor on Saturday, June 13th.

RGC attendees, vendors, staff & volunteers: meet us at the furthest Destiny USA parking lot on Solar Street (Pink Lot) at 9:30-10:15AM on the 13th and you can join us for the parade! Cosplay is welcome and encouraged (although it may be hot so prepare for the weather). The parade begins at 11AM.

Come celebrate community, visibility, acceptance, and pride in the gaming community with us, and then enjoy the festival and vendors after the parade!

Our next big event is coming up fast!

Join us on Saturday, July 25th for the Larger Than Life Summer Party and browse an amazing lineup of vendors!

Our vendors for this event will be selling all kinds of awesome stuff including video games, art prints, dice, crochet and plush makers, embroiderers, enamel pin and jewelry makers, leatherworkers, cosplay accessory and prop crafters, 3d printers, soap makers, upcycled nerdy art, and even a blacksmith artist!

This collaboration between RetroGameCon and Larger Than Life is bigger than ever, featuring food trucks, gaming and kids crafts indoors, vendors and entertainment outdoors, a casual cosplay contest, trivia, and much more.

Best of all, admission is completely free.

Musical Guest Announcement 🎶 🪊

MAGNIFICENT DANGER is a 20-piece VGM brass band from Boston.

They're an energetic collective of brass and percussion dishing out funky mashups of iconic tunes from your favorite video games and anime. Their mixture of big band, New Orleans second line, riot jazz, funk, and hip-hop creates a bizarre but danceable party appreciated by musicians and nerds alike.

Magnificent Danger's repertoire includes some of our favorite classic games including Megaman 2, Ocarina of Time, Sonic 3, and Animal Crossing, as well as classic anime like Cowboy Bebop and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

We can't wait to welcome them to our main stage on Saturday, October 3rd! 🎵 🥳 Saturday is THE day for live music @ RGC. Don't miss it and grab your 3-day pass now on our website!
