Wayne first discovered Cassidy performing at a music festival in 2014. What began as a chance encounter turned into something much more meaningful. He continued to seek her out, returning whenever he could just to listen, smile, and share in the joy of her music. When he needed to step back for a time, the connection didn’t end. It simply waited. And when he was ready, he came back year after year always with anticipation, always with that same familiar smile, ready to reconnect and be part of the music again.

Along the way, Cassidy made sure those moments didn’t fade. She sent small pieces of herself, merchandise, souvenirs, photos, simple gestures that carried something much bigger: remembrance, care, and appreciation for what those visits meant to Wayne.

This is what we mean when we talk about aging with dignity and humanity. It’s not just about support; it’s about being seen. It's joy, continuity, and music that bridges time and reminds us that connection doesn’t have an age limit.
