I had the pleasure of meeting this 1890 Weber upright for the first time. It's 90% original inside and out.
I cleaned it out of decades of dust and gave it a tuning. It's up to modern pitch and plays fairly well. It's been in the same family since new!

It's January of a new year. It's cold, snowy and your piano is feeling neglected. Oh sure the kids are home, maybe a few Christmas Carols got banged out, but the love isn't there. It's a great time to get your piano tuned and get some of those pesky adjustments made. While you're all stuck inside together why not have the piano sound its best?
It's no stretch of the imagination at all to understand if you want your child to practice, the piano needs to be tuned. A tuning shouldn't be held as a reward, it should be done as encouragement to practice and to love the joy of making music.
