Fashion show fun. Syracuse Fashion Week Gala show at the Mohegan Manor raising money to benefit the Food Bank of Central New York.

Jewelry should catch the eye and command attention from across a crowded room, yet be sculptural enough to spark conversation at intimate distances.

Getting ready for the goldplating my bronze designs. Have no fear, I am not abandoning my sterling silver (and 14k) roots, but with the economy and precious metals prices being what they are, I want to be sure that the sculptural theatricality of my work is accessible. Exquisite fashion should never be exclusive to just the wealthy, and gold plated bronze allows me to create looks that are eye catching enough to draw attention across a large room and unique enough to keep the attention at conversational distance

This is my shadow. Small, 20 little needle claws, fierce determination, formerly feral, and when I am home never more than 6 feet from me unless I can get a door closed before she can make it through to keep her away from an activity where it would be unsafe to suddenly have a fuzzy face appear. She is angry as I type this because I am doing some jewelry work that I had to shut her out of the studio for.

My hands are finally recovered enough for bench work, and I have not had to fix anything vital today so I am finally getting a tree of waxes ready to cast.
