Email Scam Alert!

Some of you may find a legitimate looking email from PayPal asking you to review and pay an "invoice".

However, it will contain many spelling errors, and refer to you as "Paypal client".

Like with any scam email, NEVER click any links or buttons attached to an email like this!

If you are ever uncertain, ALWAYS open a new browser window or tab and login to your paypal account DIRECTLY to check if there is anything amiss. (You will find nothing referencing this email.)

Be sure to mark these emails as SPAM.

I know you have heard it before, it's that time, the one time, the only time in some cases that you finally backup your data. I still run across users who have never backed up, then I get to try and retrieve the data, sometimes good results, sometimes not so good. While you are watching that Ball game, get your stuff backed up.

I continue to run across users of Windows 10 that didn't know about the great utility program called SNIPPING TOOL. This little utility helps with capturing things on the screen that you might want in a document, or something on a WEBSite.
Very useful tool. If you click on the START MENU button the one that looks like 4 squares, you then type in Snipping and it will come up, if you right click on it you can put it on your Taskbar where it sits until you need it.

I have had a fair amount of questions related to the merging of inkjet printers into Tank Printers. The function of an Inkjet printer and a Tank Printer are exactly the same. The main difference is how the Ink is replaced, in traditional inkjet printers you simply replace the cartridge, in most cases cartridges have a little amount of ink, just to get enough papers, so that you need to buy yet another one it seems more often than not.
Tank Printers provide the users with Bottles of ink that you use to refill the storage area where ink is.
This all seems a no brainer, the claim is that with Tank Printers you don't have to replace cartridges several times over a year, the bottle containing the ink provides ink for a year or more.
The decision to get a Tank Printer over regular inkjet is related to how much you print. If you print regularly then Tank might be the way to go. If you print every once in a while, then a Tank would not be, since the Tank uses ink, and ink dry's out if not used regularly, the money you think you might be saving might be lost in cleaning of the printer.

It is that time of year moving forward, it will be hot so you need to remember to not leave your electronics sitting in your car. Heat is not good for all the electronics we use today.
Make sure that you keep them out of hot vehicles, don't hide them under garments, if they are devices that run all the time, they will get hotter under coverings.
