Make sure to tune into tomorrow for a takeover by Brody Miller! Here’s a little bit more about him and his time at CitrusTV:

Hi! My name is Brody Miller and I am a rising BDJ junior interning at ABC27 in Harrisburg PA this summer. This will be my 5th semester at Citrus and I will be anchoring and executive producing for L@6 this semester. Previously, I have been a weather anchor and AP for L@6 and an AP for talking points. Citrus has given me so many great experiences that have really built up my skills in the news industry, and I’m looking forward to showing you what a day in my life looks like shadowing reporters and contributing to the coverage of PA’s capitol region!

Our Summer 2026 Instagram Takeover Series kicks off tomorrow with Colleen Nakhooda and Sophia McVige! Tune into learn about their day as interns at Spectrum News NY1! Here’s a little bit more about them and their time at CitrusTV:

Hi! I’m Colleen, and I have been a part of CitrusTV since my first semester of freshman year. After working until midnight on Election Night coverage, I knew that this was the club for me. I’ve not only had the chance to day report for the Live at 6 show for two semesters, but I have also been a weather anchor for Juice and Java, an associate producer on Citrus Investigates, and a social media producer! Being able to do a little bit of everything has been a rewarding experience and prepared me to intern for Spectrum News NY1 Station! I will rotate between the assignment desk, producer pod, field reporting, social media content, and the digital news side for the next couple months and I am so excited to expand my knowledge and expertise in the city this summer.

Hi! I’m Sophia McVige and I’m also interning at Spectrum NY1 in NYC this summer! Having the opportunity to intern with my fellow CitrusTV member and friend Colleen has been so much fun, and we’ve already learned so much together! As a freshman, I was super nervous to get involved in citrus, and honestly found it a bit intimidating. But finally sophomore year, I decided to put myself out there and AP for Live at 6. This experience strengthened my love for journalism, so I decided that I wanted to day report my second semester. Though day reporting was a lot of work, and difficult at times, I truly feel like shaped me as a journalist. I learned how to turn stories on tight deadlines, find stories and sources quickly, and find my niche as a journalist. I loved being able to be independent, and really use my creativity in my packages. At Spectrum NY1 this summer, I hope to expand on this experience even more, and improve my skills in editing, writing, producing, and filming content. I will also be rotating positions from the producer pod, the assignment desk, and helping reporters in the field.
