🏀 Our Unit-to-Unit Basketball Challenge brought the NBA Finals to our home court right here at St. Camillus! We dribbled up some fun with our friends.... A special shoutout to one of our residents, a former Syracuse University basketball player, who showed us he’s still got game 👏This activity was definitely a SLAM DUNK🏀⛹️‍♂️⛹️‍♀️⛹️And of course… we’re cheering on the Knicks all the way 🧡💙

Very special visitors stopped by St. Camillus! 💙🎓🎓🎓
Graduates from Bishop Ludden-Grimes Junior/Senior High School spent time with our residents sharing wisdom “Senior to Senior”—proving that great advice has no age limit. From life lessons to laughter, family, careers and so much more... wisdom was shared across generations. ✨ Here's some of the advice shared by our "Seniors" at St. Camillus:
- "Don't give up on yourself, and DON'T look back"
- "Opportunity will come to you - do not push it aside"
- " You can DO it, keep plugging away"
- "Have confidence in God. He won't quit you."
- "Be open to learning new things, in new ways"
- "Remember family is the MOST important thing in the world. Listen to them, they'll teach you how to grow."

Pretty Solid advice, we'd say.

And, we are thrilled that Kathy, LPN, Asst. Nurse Manager, C-Unit - was the winner! She's been a valued member of our nursing team for more than 38 years. (Yes, you read that right! THIRTY-EIGHT years 😍) Can't wait to see what she treats herself to with the gift card!
