This Sunday will be a Family Worship Day! Our toddler and preschool classrooms will be open during the entire service, but I encourage you to have your families with you for worship, as we will be celebrating 12 baptisms as one church family. ❤️ After our time of worship and baptisms, all children will head to their NextGen classrooms for Week 1 of our new series, "Flash Forward."
We hope you can join us in the morning!

Does your child believe in Jesus as Savior who died for the forgiveness of sins so that he or she may not perish, but have eternal life? If so, baptism is a beautiful display that one is ready to take off the old life, put on the new life, and join the Body of Christ! It is also an act of obedience of his disciples in baptizing and making disciples of the nations.
"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'”
If you and your child believe he or she is ready to make this step, I invite you to reach out to me (Pastor Matt) about getting baptized this Sunday, May 3! Children meet with me before getting baptized, so please reach out to me at Faith Chapel's number to set up a meeting this week.
Blessings!

Let's play a game! What do you notice different about our NextGen hallway?
We have some new changes just in time for Easter! The hallway will have some new life by the time your family joins us this weekend. ❤️

Some of our NextGen Kids team members spent the day prepping for our busy Easter weekend! It was a joyful time of cutting, stapling, stuffing, more cutting, taping, snacking, laughing, and conversing as we prepared for a weekend of ministry to our community.
I am so thankful for an amazing team of servant-hearted individuals. God was certainly glorified today, and He will most definitely be glorified this weekend! You are a blessing!

Stop by the NextGen News table today/this week and pick up an "Armor of God" booklet today!
I encourage you to read through Ephesians 6 with your family and put on the armor of God. We are in a spiritual battle, friends!
Today's Devotional: Building Healthier Families
Today, we take a look at Ephesians 6:2-4 - "'Honor your father and mother' (this is the first commandment with a promise), 'that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.' Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."
Paul is quoting one of the 10 commandments (honoring your father and mother) as he gives direction here. Additionally, he provides direction to both children AND the parent/adult. Please join in by watching the video and sharing in the discussion!
