Just wrapped up Buds Truck and Diesel Service’s 2016 W9.
This truck got a big hole conversion with brand new black button tuck with purple buttons interior, new reupholstered to match mid back seats, poly floor painted plum crazy purple with some heavy flake, and all purple watermelon interior lights.
On the outside I replaced the back panel of the sleeper with a custom starburst pattern panel with three diamond widows and a few glass lights for a nice and clean look.
I made new kick panels out of aluminum for under the cab and painted them black to replace the factory stainless ones and added a few more glass lights to them as well as 2” stainless cab and sleeper panels with a bead roll.
A stainless light box with five glass watermelons was also added to the deck plate.
Cleaned up some corrosion issues along the way to prevent future damage.
Big thanks to Charlie and Mikey at Buds for being patient and understanding the process. Everyone told me these guys are great and they lived upto that.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen and for supplying me with high end truck accessories/parts.

Recently wrapped up a job for my friend Mike Shutts. Mike dropped off the chassis for his 1986 double bunk Kenworth K-100. Big thanks to Matt from M&J Media Blasting for all his help getting this project done. We started by stripping just about everything but the steer axle out and spot blasted and epoxy primed between all the pieces that bolt to the rails. The rear section of the frame was set up as ramps for a detach trailer so Matt cut all that mess off and we tapered the rear section for a more practical and factory look. I rebushed the AG -100 suspension along with updating the suspension wishbones to new cast aluminum ones. Thanks to Twin State Truck service for helping me get the sway bars re bushed. We also rebuilt the entire cab-mate air ride cab suspension replacing the old cobbled together stuff from years of service. Then we blasted the frame, epoxy primed and skimmed it to fill in any pits and then laid down the beautiful blue topcoat that my buddy Gary at Sanels in Keene absolutely nailed to match the cab from the original cab paint code. Thanks to J&J towing for carefully towing the finished product over to my buddy Dave’s to use his loading dock to get it on Mikes step deck.
Big thanks to all involved that help me weekly. Especially Matt on this one for working in the shop with me on it. I can’t imagine working for me, I drive myself crazy.

Thanks to Baker Excavating and Construction Services for letting me get this nice old CH looking cool. Randy asked me to clean up the back of the cab and make it look better. I took all the stock frame mounted exhaust off and made a much cleaner cab mounted exhaust system work. All the parts are serviceable incase of wear or damage in the future. Big shoutout to for all the help with the design and fab work on the exhaust brackets and custom blind mount full fender brackets. Also added a bunch of glass lights, mudflap weights and a custom 18” chrome bumper.
Here’s a video of my wetline install almost two years later. I called this the zip tie challenge because I only used one zip tie on the entire install. Almost two years later no chaffing, leaking hoses or any other issues. Nice to see attention to detail pay off.

I had the opportunity of having this big ride back in the shop last month. I originally put this truck together when it was brand new for Kevin Towle who ordered and designed the whole thing. Almost two years later it was great to roll around it and see all the hard work and attention to detail pay off. I did everything but the fenders and paint work when the truck was brand new. Also installed the wetline system with a hydro pack cooler for hauling propane.
Now MJI Transport owns this beauty and Mark brought it back to add about 50 more lights in tasteful places because he’s obviously scared of the dark. I installed a Shift Products rock light underglow kit, Shift Products frame light brackets with LED watermelon lights, added lights to the rear center panel, air cleaners, and under glow under the cab and bunk. For functionality I added a light bar at the back, a back up alarm on a switch in the cab for those early morning departures and two factory positioned work lights on the back of the bunk. We painted the air tank in house to match the Legendary black on the body of the truck.
This truck looked just as nice inside, outside and under as it did when it had 600 miles on it almost 2 years ago the first time I had my hands on it. So kudos to Kevin for keeping such an immaculate piece of equipment as usual.
Thanks for the opportunity again, Mark.

2025 is full of things and people to be thankful for. On July 1st I started the move into my new shop (Formally known as Garner Auto Body) across from Toyota-Volvo of Keene on route 12 in Swanzey ,NH. I cannot thank the Lehtola family enough for trusting me and working with me to get their tenant out and me in so quickly. Also a huge thanks to the Chabbot family and all the great people on California street for an awesome last two years there. That was a huge stepping stone for me. This was another huge step and I thank everyone involved who gave me a heads up, helped me move or just gave me a vote of confidence that it would work out.
The new shop space has proven to be a huge help the last few months being able to work on multiple projects at once, a better atmosphere for painting and having the room to roll trucks in and out with ample space. My new friend Justin is also onsite at the north end of the building doing his own cool automotive restoration thing with a passion for old cars and pickups. Automotive Restoration, give him a follow.
I just wanted to give an update, let everyone know where I am located now and wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
