Control Southern

𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰. He will succeed Doug Turner, who will transition into retirement after 36 years with Control Southern and continue serving as Chairperson of the Board.

Kevin brings a proven record of building high‑performing teams, optimizing processes, and leveraging technology to accelerate growth. Since joining Control Southern in 2003, Kevin has held a variety of pivotal roles, including Account Manager, Regulator Business Unit Leader, Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, Senior Vice President, and most recently, Executive Vice President overseeing Sales and Operations for all Final Control and Automation & Reliability business units.

From now through August 6, you can drop off school supplies directly at Control Southern’s Lakeland office. Whether it’s pencils, notebooks, glue sticks, or backpacks — every item donated helps give students a stronger start to the school year.

This is a simple way to give back, and it’s right here in our own backyard. Your generosity helps teachers, lifts students, and strengthens our schools.

Throughout June, our teams put extra focus on what matters most, safety. From daily conversations to safe work practices, we took intentional steps to reinforce that Safety is our #1 Value.

Each Monday, our leaders proudly wore their yellow safety shirts as a weekly reminder of our commitment to a strong safety culture. These small but consistent actions help drive awareness and keep safety top of mind.

Rob has been instrumental in building our in-house HR capabilities over the past six years, implementing key programs and policies that support our mission to grow leaders. With over 30 years of experience in various HR roles, Rob's vision for HR continues to drive our company culture through a people-centered approach. At Control Southern, we came together to honor and remember the brave service members who gave their lives for our country.

In recognition of Memorial Day, our team shared a cookout, enjoyed a visit from an ice cream truck, and wore two pins. One to commemorate Memorial Day and another in support of Wear Blue: Run to Remember, a community dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of the American military through remembrance and purposeful movement.

A meaningful time of reflection, unity, and gratitude.

We are excited to announce 𝗝𝗲𝗳𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗿 as our 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨. Jeff brings 25 years of extensive process control experience in his career in field engineering and maintenance support, focused on heavy rotating equipment, coal-fired boilers, and valve repair. He has a passion for safety, people development, and creating positive outcomes.
