Bill Weathers founder of Weathers Insurance, Inc., started in the insurance business as an excess and surplus lines underwriter in 1958. Bill worked with numerous independent agents in this capacity and saw a need for an insurance agency offering more personal service. He started Weathers Insurance in 1970 with that philosophy in mind. Bill led the agency until he retired in 2002. Chris K. Weathers, President of the agency since 1995, has been with the agency since 1984. Like Bill, Chris began his career as an excess and surplus lines underwriter. Kevin Morrison started in the insurance industry as an insurance company claims adjuster in 1977. Kevin has been a licensed insurance agent with Weathers since 1983 and a licensed insurance counselor since 1995. Our expertise lies in commercial and personal property and casualty insurance. Because we are independent agents, we enjoy the privilege of representing many of the finest insurance companies and are able to tailor a program for you.
