We are installing a rock garden around a newly installed pool and pool deck. Lots of dirt being moved, boulders and plants placed. Next will come slate stepstones and many yards of rock. More to come.

Here is a photo of a Xeroscaped garden I use as inspiration for my designs for drought-resistant plants. We can see butterfly bush, blue fescue, rudbeckia, cosmos (I think), sedum. The subtle fluxuations of the height of the plants is easy on the eye.
It's Time to Plant Pansies! Ornamental cabbage, kale, parsley, snapdragons AND don't forget spring bulbs like tulips and daffodils.
