A well-designed laundry room doesn’t just make a home look better—it makes everyday life feel easier. 🧺
This space combines deep green cabinetry, warm textures, and functional storage to create something both practical and calming to spend time in.
Because even the most routine parts of the day deserve thoughtful design.
Thinking about updating your home? Sometimes the smallest spaces make the biggest difference.

There’s a reason so many people end up in Arizona and think,
“Why didn’t we do this sooner?”
The slower mornings.
The sunshine in every room.
The feeling of finally having space to enjoy life a little more.
For a lot of snowbirds and new Arizona homeowners, it’s not just about buying a house.
It’s about creating the next chapter of home.

There’s a part of this conversation people don’t talk about enough: the emotional side of home.
A lot of homeowners don’t necessarily want to leave the place where memories were made, routines were built, and life happened. They just need the home to function better for this stage of life.
That’s why remodeling and moving are two very different decisions.
If you still love the neighborhood, the location, and the feeling of home itself, it may be worth looking at the space differently before deciding to leave it behind.
We’re diving deeper into that conversation in our latest Tru Guide:
“Is It Time to Remodel — or Is It Time to Move?”

Every year, we talk with homeowners who feel stuck between two options: move… or remodel.
Usually, the frustration starts small. A kitchen that no longer functions well. Storage that never seems to work. Rooms that feel disconnected or underused.
Over time, the home simply stops supporting the way life looks today.
But many times, the issue isn’t the house itself — it’s the layout.
Some of the most impactful remodels we’ve worked on didn’t involve massive additions. They involved improving flow, opening spaces up, bringing in light, and helping the home function better for everyday life.

One thing the homeowners told us early on was that they wanted to move away from the browns and oranges that originally defined this kitchen.
Their goal was something sleeker, with cooler colors, cleaner lines, and a layout that worked better for everyday life.
We updated the space with custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, tile flooring, new appliances, and added an island to make the most of the smaller footprint.
A lot of the design work focused on maximizing function without making the kitchen feel crowded—a challenge we love solving.
Still one of our favorite kitchens to look back on.

One trend we’ve been hearing about constantly lately?
Dutch doors.
From front entries to back patios, more homeowners are asking for them—and honestly, we understand why. They bring in light, airflow, character, and that indoor-outdoor feeling people want more of in Arizona homes.
We pulled together a few Dutch door designs we’ve been loving lately for inspiration… including one from Simpson Door Company that we’ve had our eye on recently.
Which one would you choose for your own home?

“Should we just move instead?”
Honestly, it’s one of the biggest questions homeowners ask when their house stops working for them.
More space? Better layout? A kitchen that finally makes sense for everyday life?
We’re breaking down what homeowners should actually consider before making that decision in our latest Tru Guide.

This is the kind of kitchen people end up saving for “someday.”
Warm wood cabinetry.
Soft natural light.
Storage that actually functions.
And finishes that still feel timeless years later.
We’re seeing more homeowners move away from overly cold, all-white kitchens and toward spaces that feel calmer, warmer, and easier to live in day to day.
Honestly? We don’t think that trend is going anywhere.
Would you go with natural wood tones like this in your own kitchen?

While our clients are enjoying mornings by the water, traveling for the summer, or simply living life uninterrupted, we’re sourcing materials, coordinating details, and helping bring their future space together behind the scenes.
A lot happens before the final reveal.
