2026 Best of the Beach Vote once per day from June 1 through June 19.

Beachfront Blessings is proud to share that we partnered with Maria’s Kids, Inc. - South and Carolina Forest High School to help bring Horry County Schools its first communication board to life!

This special board was created so that all kids can have greater inclusion, accessibility, and a voice in their everyday school experience. One side is designed for PE, and the other side is designed for lunch—helping students communicate their wants, needs, and choices in key parts of the school day.

We are honored to be part of a partnership that makes a real difference, and we hope this is just the beginning of many more communication boards throughout Horry County. Together, we can build a community where every child belongs and every voice matters.

We’re proud to share another exciting step forward for Beachfront Blessings!

A new communication board has been installed at Memorial Park in the Town of Surfside Beach creating more opportunities for connection, inclusion, and community engagement.

This board will be a valuable resource during some of our favorite local gatherings like the farmers market, Music in the Park, and special traditions such as the Christmas tree lighting. It helps ensure that everyone—regardless of communication ability—can participate, interact, and feel part of the moment.

We’re honored to continue expanding access and inclusion throughout our community, one board at a time.

Big Saturday! Come find us at the Town of Surfside Beach family festival spot 72 near Fuller Park and say hi to Alice. Spin the wheel for prizes and learn more about our communication boards. Then come up to Low Tide Gaming and redeem your prize while enjoying all of our video games as well as College Football on the TVs. Bo is manning the store while Will is at Comic Con.

We’ve just installed our second Communication Board—this time with community leader Grand Palms Resort! These boards help kids and families of all abilities express themselves and play together with confidence.
