Einride, one of our unicorns, made its Nasdaq debut today!
From our very first call with Robert Falck in 2018, it was clear this was a bold vision paired with strong conviction. We met the team at CES 2019 and invested shortly after. We then saw that vision come to life firsthand β watching the team engage early customers, iterate quickly, and turn initial conversations into real contracts and scaled deployments.
Since then, we've been proud to support Einride through the Plug and Play ecosystem. Today, the company operates across North America and Europe with around 200 electric trucks on the road, and is now publicly traded.
That journey from early dialogue to public markets is rare. Congratulations to the entire Einride team. We're excited to see what comes next.

95% of corporate AI innovation initiatives are showing zero return on investment, according to MIT's Media Lab. One of the most common reasons: conflating a proof of concept with a pilot.
They're not the same thing, and running the wrong one at the wrong time is where budget gets wasted and startup partnerships stall.
A PoC answers "can this work?" A pilot answers "will this work for us?" The sequence matters more than most teams realize β and so does being actually ready before you launch either one.
At Plug and Play, we've facilitated hundreds of PoC and pilot engagements across industries. This guide breaks down exactly when to run each one, what readiness looks like in practice, and real examples from our partners.

Cities don't become AI hubs by accident. They need the right infrastructure, the right talent, and the right connections between startups, corporations, universities, and government.
That's what Plug and Play's AI Centers of Excellence are built to do β turn regions into recognized AI leaders by connecting local innovation to global opportunities.
We launched this effort in 2024, and the partners coming together speak for themselves: Pacific Gas and Electric Company, San Jose State University, City of San JosΓ©, Archetype AI, SBI Holdings USA, University of Washington, and more.
With the AI market projected to surpass $1 trillion by the end of decade and 650+ AI companies in our portfolio, we're not just watching this unfold. We're building it.

Forbes asked experienced leaders which non-financial metrics they track to gauge long-term success.
Saeed Amidi, CEO of Plug and Play, pointed to startup traction β specifically how often startups engage with corporations through pilots and partnerships. When those connections turn into real collaboration, it signals that startups are gaining real market adoption and moving forward, which is where long-term value in venture actually starts.

95% of enterprise AI initiatives still fail to generate measurable P&L impact.
Our latest insurance industry report explores why most deployments stall after the pilot phase, and why the real bottleneck is no longer the model itself, but fragmented data, legacy systems, and workflow integration.
The report also looks at how insurers are moving away from centralized data lakes toward agentic AI mesh architectures designed to support claims, underwriting, and policy operations at scale.

M&Mβs, Twix, Pringles, Cheez-It, and Pop-Tarts are some of the brands driving Mars, Incorporatedβs approach to innovation across the global snacking industry.
In the conversation, Greg Hocking, VP Global R&D Innovation Territories at Mars, shares how working with Plug and Play has helped strengthen Marsβs approach to startup collaboration, learn alongside other global corporates, and build long-term relationships across the innovation ecosystem.
One of the biggest lessons from the partnership has been the value of staying connected with startups over time. Some companies may not be the right fit today, but become the right partner years later as priorities and technologies evolve.

Hacktron is building AI-native security testing for the next generation of software development.
Founded by elite offensive security researchers and competitive hackers, the company embeds attacker-style reasoning directly into developer workflows to continuously identify vulnerabilities as code is written and deployed.
The team recently uncovered critical vulnerabilities in Supabaseβs authentication infrastructure and Perplexityβs Comet browser, demonstrating how AI-powered offensive security can surface issues traditional scanners miss.
Excited to support Hacktron as they build the future of continuous application security.
