"Passover is referred to as the holiday of Herut. Many translate the Hebrew word herut as freedom, but it is more accurately translated as liberty, and there is a stark difference between the two. Freedom means that one is free from something whereas liberty connotes that one can produce something.
One can encounter freedom with little or no investment, whereas liberty requires a person to be proactive. Being free from something does not mean that you have necessarily obligated yourself to something else, but being at liberty to do something implies that one may be allotted with an opportunity to impact something or someone in a constructive way. There are people who are free but they may never experience herut."

Fun facts (that you MIGHT not know) about Santa’s reindeers:
1. The name “reindeer” is of Norse origin (from the old Norse word “hreinn” for deer) and has nothing to do the reins of a sled.
2. Santa's crew is all-female :) Male reindeer shed their antlers at the end of the mating season in early December. Females, however, keep their thinner antlers throughout the winter.
3. Their noses are specially designed to warm the air before it gets to their lungs.
4. The real reindeer's favorite food is moss (not carrots)!
5. Santa's reindeer made their first official appearance in 1823, in Clement C. Moore’s poem "The Night Before Christmas".
6. The original reindeer were Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Dunder, and Blixem (later known as Donner and Blitzen).
7. Dasher is the eldest of Santa's reindeer, respected by all the other reindeer and is the leader of the reindeer pack.
8. Rudolph, the little red-nosed reindeer didn't make an appearance in popular culture until 1939, when department store Montgomery Ward hired writer Robert L. May to write a book starring a brand-new Christmas character.
Finally: This is Santa Claus’ direct line: (951) 262-3062. Obviously, this time of year keeps him very busy in his workshop, so don't be shocked when it goes right to voicemail.
Merry Christmas!!
