Please join us in congratulating Zak Holmes as the 2022 Brew or Cry champion! In the battle of the breakfast stouts, Zak's was judged to be the best of the brunch. Zak is a repeat champion, claiming his first trophy back in 2016.

If you're wondering what a winning breakfast stout tastes like, you're in luck! Zak's recipe will be scaled up and commercially released at OOGA Brewing Company later this year. Follow our page for updates on the release date.

On tap now at Ooga Brewing Co. in Beaver Dam is Andy Attwood's winning beer that earned him his third title a Brew or Cry Champion in our in club competition. Make sure to get up there before it is gone!!

Last night we had a presentation from our esteemed VP Andy on malt sensory analysis. We tasted base malts, crystal malts, and roasted malts. We even had a test at the end having to taste a combination of these malts and had to pick out the individual malts that made up that wort. Big thanks to Andy for putting on this presentation for our members!!

Were you a little disappointed to learn that beer in a bag was actually just a hoax? So were we. But if you want to chat with some people about how we *could* make something like this happen, we are your people.

We meet the fourth Thursday of each month. Topics span the continuum of brewing beer, including style details, trivia, hops, fermentation, and you guessed it, packaging! 🍻
