Prize Patrol is on the move! 🎉

The Sun Prairie Civic Theatre production mentorship program is about so much more than putting on a show. It helps create the next generation of leaders, creators, and collaborators in the arts and SPEF is very proud to support it. 🎭

Congrats Lori and her whole team on making this extraordinary learning opportunity possible for kids over the summer. 👏

Meet our Trustee Chris Swenson! 👋

Chris Swenson is the Owner and President of Wisconsin Wealth Advisors, LLC, an SEC-registered investment advisor. With over 25 years of experience as a financial advisor, he has helped individuals and families plan their financial futures. 📈💼

Chris has also served as a volunteer board member of the Sun Prairie Education Foundation (SPEF) for more than 20 years and has been a longtime volunteer with the Sun Prairie Business and Education Partnership. 💚 His passion for community service and education is a driving force behind his volunteer efforts, as he believes in giving back and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. 📚

Chris and his wife, Tami, have two grown children, Zachary and Mackenzie. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, traveling, photography, spending time with family, and is an avid fan of the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers. 🏌️🧳📷🏈

The SPEF Prize Patrol Team surprised Sherry Jenkel at Westside Elementary School, SPASD with funding for the Wildcat Drama Club. 🎉 Through theater and performance, students will have the opportunity to build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and express their creativity in new and exciting ways.

✨Meet our trustee, Donna Weisensel ✨

Upon graduating from Sun Prairie High School in 1969, Donna was hired by the district as the secretary of Summer School and went on to serve the district for 45 years. 🎓✏️ During her career, she worked in several areas, primarily as the secretary at Northside Elementary. Seeing the world through the eyes of children was one of the most rewarding parts of her experience.

In 2019, Donna was invited to join the Sun Prairie Education Foundation (SPEF) Board of Trustees, where she now serves as Secretary. 🎉
