More highlights from our Middle School Agriculture Enrichment Summer School course!

Our Administrative Associates kicked off the school year with a kickoff meeting at the District Support Center today.

Thank you for all you do to support our schools, staff, students, and families!

Through hands-on projects, students in our Middle School Agriculture Enrichment Summer School course explored agriculture through unique experiences, from working with animals to learning beyond the classroom!

Thank you to all who attended last night’s Public Hearing to review the 2026-27 preliminary budget. We appreciate our community members who took the time to be involved and learn more about this important topic.

More photos from our Westside Elementary School, SPASD students' fun-filled week of ocean-themed learning!

On Friday, three members of the SPASD staff had the opportunity to visit the D.C. Everest Area School District up in Weston to learn more about their Hmong Phoojywg Enrichment Program.

It was inspiring to see more than 300 students participating in this two-week summer program, where they are learning about Hmong language, culture, foods, history, and dance. The passion of the staff, students, and families was evident throughout our visit.

Thank you to Kia Thao and Xia Yang for welcoming our team and sharing the incredible work happening through this program to preserve and celebrate Hmong culture.

We’re proud of our educators for their commitment to strengthening their structured literacy skills and supporting our students’ success!

Our Westside Elementary School, SPASD students had a blast last week building their reading and math skills through ocean-themed activities!

Our next School Board regular meeting is Monday, July 27th at 6:00 p.m. in the Hilltop Campus Board Room: Room 221 at 220 Kroncke Drive, Suite #28. As a reminder, the District will also hold a Public Hearing to review the preliminary 2026–27 budget as part of the regular meeting.
