Nothing is more American than a group of private citizens using leverage to negotiate in their own self interest, their family's and their patients'.

CEO's of corporations negotiate amazing contracts for themselves. Why should nurses be held to a different standard?

They shouldn't.

If you expect people to rely on themselves and less on government, then get out of their way and let then unionize.
