What’s the first thing you look for when touring a new apartment community?

Our leasing office is located at 1695 Matt Waagen Way, but how did Matt Waagen Way get its name? The name comes from Matt Waagen, a second generation immigrant from Norway, who acquired this plot of land after his father’s death in 1956. Matt Waagen’s ownership also included the Happy Valley Schoolhouse, a one-room school from the 1800s, where the building still stands today. 60 years later, Heyday Sun Prairie is built and currently looks to expand in the coming months.
