Today two churches come together in Christ, it was bigger than buildings, names, or denominations—it’s was about advancing the Kingdom of God together. Unity reminds the world that we are stronger when we pray together, serve together, and worship together as one body in Christ. What God can do through a united church is powerful! Today is the National Day of Prayer. We pray because God told us to do so (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and we pray before we know God hears us when we do (Psalm 145:18)
