With a very heavy heart I am writing some terrible news. As of last night around 3am our restaurant caught on fire. It is completely ruined. We are not sure of the cause but it is under investigation as of right now. My heart is broken for my parents. They are going to miss seeing everyone so very much. This was their whole life. I am at a loss for words over this loss. In a blink of an eye this place that has been my life for over 22 years is gone. I truly believe it was all in Gods timing for my hard working parents who refused to retire. I will never get the chance to go through the items that would have been special to me. There were sentimental things that I would have loved the chance to go through. I have found myself crying all day. My parents are so strong. They have made me the hard working person I am today. This placed taught me the value of hard work. These things that were special to me may have been taken but my memories of my parents teaching me to cook will stay in my heart forever. I am also grateful for all the wonderful friendships I made. I will always remember you all! Please remember how much my parents loved cooking these home cooked meals for you all. They never stopped. Despite the heart attack at Christmas she continues to fight. They are the hardest working people I know. They have worked so hard to bring such love to their home cooked food. They absolutely loved this place and most of all the wonderful friends we have made. I will always remember all the wonderful people Ive met and that have watched me grow up. We were together through a marriage and 2 children. I could ramble on all day. Please know how special you all are who became such good friends with us and we will never forget you. Thank you so much for supporting them for 22 years! May God bless you all and please never forget Country Fixins. ❤️
