This inspiring documentary tells the story of Frankie San, a South Carolina prison chaplain whose ministry brought hope, dignity, and compassion to countless incarcerated persons. Following the film, there will be a community conversation about faith, justice, mercy, and redemption.

Good morning, friends! We are delighted that you are joining us for worship today, whether you are in Sumter, across South Carolina, or somewhere around the world.

Today we gather to praise the Living God through music, prayer, Scripture, and the proclamation of God's Word. Our choir will lead us in worship, we will pray for one another, and Rev. Dr. Regina H. Moore will share a message entitled "Sent to Heal" based on Matthew 9:35–10:8.

In this powerful passage, Jesus calls His disciples by name and sends them into the world to bring hope, healing, compassion, and good news. Together, we will explore what it means to be followers of Christ who are called, equipped, and sent to serve others in Jesus' name.

In Matthew 9, Jesus looks upon the crowds and is filled with compassion. He sees people who are weary, hurting, and searching for hope—and he responds with love.

As our pastor wraps up a wonderful week at Annual Conference in Greenville, where United Methodists worshiped, served, prayed, and conducted the business of the church, Dr. Moore's heart is already turning toward home and toward Sunday worship at Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. as we gather to worship the Living God, pray together, sing together, and hear God's Word. Our choir will be sharing special music, and the message will focus on Jesus' compassionate call to his disciples.
