The Cheek Chick

The Cheek Chick is of course closed until further notice. I will also be tossing out ALL my paints and purchasing new ones with this outbreak going on. With so many Asymptomatic people carrying the virus I’d rather be safe than sorry. Will post once I start offering services back.

Not easy to practice on myself but here is my first Pluto

The Cheek Chick will be hiding a few rocks around Sumter. Each rock can be kept or turned in to receive discount on face painting which is posted on rock. I will post a pic of the rocks and the discounts on them. They will pretty much be $10 off each hour of face painting. Each hour is currently $50 per hour. If your party is outside Sumter there may be a travel fee which starts at $10 depending on distance.
There will be one for 1 free hour of face painting when you book a 2 hours or more party.

Just for fun

At this time my rate has been reduced to $50 per hour. This rate will remain for the next few months. I currently can’t not provide a balloon artist like I used to. If you have a party where kids will get wet, you may want to reconsider hiring me as my paints are not waterproof. I just want to be honest to anyone considering hiring a face painter. Questions to ask a face painter or a company offering face painting...
1. What kind of paint do you use? DO NOT HIRE SOMEONE USING ACRYLIC PAINT YOU CAN BUY AT WALMART OR MICHAELS. These paints ARE NOT FOR THR SKIN and can be dangerous for kids.
2. Are your paints waterproof?
3. Is the glitter you use safe for kids eyes? Craft glitter is not ok to use and can cut the eye causing damage if used. They must have FACE PAINT glitter only.
4. Do you have a page where I can see your work?

Those are some main questions to ask. Also shop around. Some prices you will find better than others. Hope this helps some!

PRICING FOR FACE PAINTING IS $50 PER HOUR! This special will be valid until October 29th!!!! It is best to book for more than an hour unless you have a small number of kids at your party. Some face painting takes a little longer than others so please keep that in mind when calculating time.

Pricing has been reduced. I apologize but we no longer do balloon animals. Hopefully we can bring Balloon animals back in the near future.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from THE CHEEK CHICK! Yes I painted this on my belly! We are happily awaiting the birth of our baby girl. She's our little hippo. We have been told she will be a very big baby so we call her our little hippo. Can't wait to hold her.

The cheek chick will be taking a break. We are due to welcome a baby girl soon and contractions are making it uncomfortable to sit still and I'd hate to ruin any parties. We will be back next year and I will post when after our little one is born. Thank you.
