We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came together to make our food boxing event on Tuesday July 28th a tremendous success. We received a HUGE donation from Ricky McLoud of Piggly Wiggly. Mr. McLoud, we could not have done this without the assistance of your kindness.
A special thank you to the Shaw Air Force Base First Sergeants Group, Charlie Fossett and his incredible team of volunteers, the Combat VeteransMotorcycleAssociation, Warhorse Brotherhood MC - Shaw Field, Warrior Brotherhood MC and the Crestwood High School Football Team (Thanks Coach Nelson). Your dedication, teamwork, and willingness to serve made an incredible impact.
Together, this amazing group packed over 150 boxes of food that will be distributed to veterans and their families throughout our community.
At Hidden Wounds, we are dedicated to serving those who have served by helping combat food insecurity among our local veterans. Events like this remind us that when a community comes together with a shared purpose, lives are changed.
We truly could not have accomplished this without each and every one of you. Thank you for your service, your compassion, and your commitment to giving back.

VAlanthropy founder Fred Altman and our partners from Hidden Wounds Resource Center, Dr. Lance Newman and Paul Quarrella had the distinct pleasure of meeting Gary Sinise and attending a performance by the Lt. Dan Band at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, South Carolina, yesterday.
What an incredible experience and a true honor to meet a man who has dedicated so much of his life to supporting our nation's veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, and their families. Gary Sinise's commitment to those who serve is inspiring, and we are grateful for the opportunity to witness firsthand the impact he continues to make.
Thank you, Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band, for an unforgettable evening and for all you do for our military community.

This Saturday 20 June, Hidden Wounds will have their monthly Cruise-in. We will have be serving hotdogs and Alsies of Columbia ice cream truck will be there. Celebrate Freedom will also be there with a few of their vehicles including a Helicopter a Deuce and a half, and a Hum-Vee. We are also doing a food drive and are looking to fill the Hum-Vee with non- perishable food items, for our pantry to feed Veterans. So come check out some incredible vehicles and help us fill the Hum-Vee.
