This Pride Month, I'm proud to share two things close to my heart. 🏳️🌈
I recently completed Daylight's Impact Philanthropy Advisor program, inspired directly by my work on the board of GenPride and a growing need to help my LGBTQ+ clients align their charitable giving with causes that truly matter to them.
GenPride is one of those causes.
They are building a movement for the first out generation to grow old, right here in Seattle. The need is real: 80% of Gen Pride members live alone, and two-thirds survive on $40,000 or less a year. Mainstream aging systems were never built for this community. GenPride is changing that.
