Nonprofit Service Organization The Sumner Lions Club was chartered in 2004. Our meetings are held on the second and forth Wednesday at the V.F.W.
We are a group of members that like helping out the community by giving hope and encouragement to special needs and also the impaired. Hall at 1705 Willow St. The doors open at 6:00 P.M. Meeting is at 6:30P.M. Visitors are more than welcome. Please contact us well ahead of the meeting you wish to attend.

Rhubarb Days are upon us again, finally this Saturday and Sunday (July 9 & 10) .
We will be present this year with a fundraiser selling these handmade cedar planter boxes.
Stop by and say hello, we will also have a used eyeglasses drop box for your used eyewear and pick up some cold water as you wander the streets visiting the other vendors.
Enjoy the festivities, eat some pie and enjoy the weekend.

The final Date is set! May 14th. Special Needs Fishing Derby at Mill Pond in Auburn.
Meeting tomorrow afternoon at 3. New meeting time until spring.

This is one of our major fundraisers for the year.
If you cannot use a full box, ask a neighbor or family member to split one with you. You don't have to eat them all at once either, make applesauce and freeze for later, peel & slice and freeze for some pies or crisps for the holidays.
Give Norm a call to place an order and to make payment arrangements (mail a check or VENMO him). We will deliver (within reason) on or after Oct 24th.
