Please join me in wishing a very happy birthday to my co-coach, business partner, problem-solver, and frequent voice of reason.
Nicole cares deeply about our clients, celebrates every win right alongside them, and somehow manages to keep things running smoothly even when life gets busy.
We're lucky to have her as part of The Morph Method.
Happy Birthday, Nicole! 🎉💙

Sometimes “healthy eating” gets overcomplicated.
After years of nutrition coaching, we've seen that most sustainable nutrition habits are built through things like:
• repeating simple meals
• using ingredients in multiple ways
• wasting less food (instead of constantly chasing novelty)
• finding ways to make familiar meals feel fresh again
Especially this time of year in Washington, there’s a lot of produce that works really well in simple, repeatable meals without needing a complicated recipe attached to it.
We can all benefit from building simpler meals around foods that are affordable, accessible, and already around us!
Do you have a meal you’re hyperfixating on right now? Please share!

If you’ve ever been coached by us, you’ve probably heard: “Try to get a variety of colors of fruits and veggies.”
We don't say this because every meal needs to look pretty, but because variety matters for nutrition, fiber, digestion, and honestly for keeping meals from getting boring!
One of the easiest ways to do that? Buying produce that’s actually in season, especially here in Washington where different produce rotates through the year pretty noticeably.
Right now that can look like:
• berries
• cherries
• asparagus
• Walla Walla sweet onions
• snap peas
• leafy greens
• rhubarb
Plus, usually seasonal produce:
• is cheaper (!!!)
• is fresher
• tastes better
• lasts longer
So if you’re bored with your meals, finding new produce to spice things up can make your default meals feel way less repetitive without needing a whole new meal plan every week.
Your chicken bowls, yogurt bowls, salads, wraps, oatmeal, smoothies, and stir fries can stay mostly the same, just rotate the produce!

Nutrition in real life also includes holidays, BBQs, desserts, and time with people you care about.
Hope everyone has a fun and safe Memorial Day!

Food prices are high right now, so we’ve been leaning even harder into habits that help us waste less food and make meals easier.
None of these things are complicated, but over time they save us a surprising amount of money, help us waste less food and make consistency way easier too.
A lot of eating well comes down to having systems that make the easier choice the more convenient one.
What’s one thing you do that helps save money on food or reduce food waste?
How are you trying to save money on groceries?!
05/20/2026
We know groceries can be expensive right now, and wasting food makes it even more expensive.
A lot of the time, eating healthier or saving money doesn’t mean doing a complete overhaul. Usually it’s just having a simpler system that makes food easier to actually use during the week.
Things like chopping vegetables when you get home so they are ready to use, buying meat in bulk and freezing portions, shredding your own cheese, or planning a few repeat meals can go a long way.
Remember, it doesn’t have to be fancy to work. Simple meals and repeatable habits are usually what help people stay the most consistent!
