Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center recently began performing a new minimally invasive procedure using the Symplicity Spyral™ renal denervation (RDN) system to help lower high blood pressure by calming overactive nerves near the kidneys.

For patients whose blood pressure remains difficult to control with lifestyle changes or medication, this innovative treatment may help reduce the risk of serious cardiovascular events such as stroke and heart failure.
