Itโs egg season ๐ฐ ๐ธ What kiddo doesnโt like a good Easter egg hunt? Plastic eggs are an easy way to work pre-writing or letters, as well as strengthening and bilateral coordination. Set up a gross motor obstacle course with the eggs on the other side and let the fun begin. ๐ช๐ผ Did you know that kids need to know how to form their pre-writing strokes before they learn how to write their letters ?? ๐ญ

๐Strengthen the little muscles in the hands
๐ Almost all self-care activities involve the use of one or two hands together.

Hello, My name is Taylor Hoffman and I am a pediatric occupational therapist. I have been treating children from preschool through 5th grade for the last 5 years. I am also a mom of 2 young children.
I love working with kids and seeing them learn and succeed while increasing their independence. Since a child's main occupation is 'play', all my sessions are hands-on and fun. Multi-sensory learning is the key to engagement, motivation and skill acquisition!
