Here are a couple of things to keep in mind when viewing these recommendations:
⚠️ All recommended macro ranges listed below are in grams per pound of body weight per day.
⚠️ Keep in mind that running a hypocaloric or hypercaloric diet while training in a specific sport might require trade-offs in performance for diet progress or vice versa. Choose the range appropriate to your prioritized goal.
⚠️ Optimal macronutrient amounts might change across training phases in a specific sport. For example, endurance sports will lean towards the higher end of the recommended carbohydrate range during peak training and competition while team and strength/power sports recommendations will lean towards the lower carbohydrate range during more low volume training phases and so on.

Eating healthy for your body and sanity involves diet breaks, occasional indulgences, and some treats here and there; it involves 𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚.
Restriction should be limited to brief periods of weight change followed again by periods of weight maintenance and balance.
This also helps prevent black and white thinking about food–there are not good foods and bad foods, only foods you might want to eat more often than others, and types of foods you might want to temporarily avoid to reach a goal more easily 🙌

Not losing weight while on a fat loss diet can be frustrating, especially when you are putting in so much time and effort.
It’s important to understand the cause of the plateau so that you can address it directly and not seek out fixes that might get you farther away from your goal.
Stay calm, analyze the situation, and implement the change (or changes) needed to hit your desired weight change.

If you find yourself having fallen off or missed a meal, remember that one meal won't make or break your diet.
If you fall off track, just get back on track. No regrets, no guilt, and don't overcompensate.
