You can start signing up for Fall Sports now!!! Summer break is a great time for your student to get a new sports physical. They are good for two years. Fall sports are: Cross Country, Football, Volleyball, and Boys Soccer. Use final forms to sign up now at https://sultan-wa.finalforms.com/.

Honors Night celebrates the students who have achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher. This event is by invitation only. Thank you for all your hard work Skyhawks!

SMS AVID is having a College and Career Fair on June 8th from 6:30 - 7:30 pm in the SMS Commons. Open to all!

8th grade students and their families are welcome to come celebrate the promotion of our 8th grade class as they move up from middle school to high school for the next school year!

Our 8th grade music students performed beautifully at a special festival performance at Federal Way High School this past weekend!

Our band kicked things off with "It's Raining Tacos" and a medley from How to Train Your Dragon. They did an awesome job and got fantastic feedback from the judges. Next up, the choir absolutely crushed their set with "Hit the Road Jack" and "Time After Time". Their harmonies completely wowed the crowd and judges!

To celebrate, the students spent a sunny afternoon riding rollercoasters and water slides at Wild Waves Theme Park. Best of all, the day ended with both groups bringing home a trophy to celebrate their hard work!

If you want to hear these award-winning 8th graders - and the rest of our talented SMS musicians - come out to our concert this Wednesday at 6:00pm at Sultan High School. Way to go Skyhawks!

Step Up Day is when current fifth graders visit SMS with their class and learn about what to expect for the following school year. They participate in a fun assembly where they learn about the classes, sports, and clubs we have to offer. Fifth graders will also get a quick tour of the campus.

Step Up Night is for parents and guardians of fifth graders to come for an informative presentation on our academics, athletics, and expectations. This is a wonderful opportunity for fifth graders and their families to get questions answered and to ease any anxieties about transitioning to middle school.

We will have no school on Monday, May 25th, in honor of Memorial Day. On this day we honor all who have died while serving in the country's armed forces.

Come cheer on our SMS track athletes on Wednesday as they perform in the Cascade League meet at SHS. Competitions start at 3:30pm.
