Do you have a favorite fossil?

If you asked me yesterday I would have said an ammonite, the big bright flashy kind.

Today, I discovered the star crinoids. They are related to start fish, sea urchins and sand dollars. They look like the confetti of the fossil world. 🎉

I'm thinking these would look amazing in a resin necklace... What do you think?

We dropped off some new products at the Sunflower Boutique in Edmonds yesterday.

I made some new rings- Ruby and Lapis Lazuli.

So far so good.... But he is still pretty drugged up.

Made some turquoise necklaces tonight. I love the unique shapes and patterns on these little beauties.

I bought the turquoise in an auction at our rockhounding club. It came from a long time member and collector. I worked hard to win it too! 💪 There will be more necklaces to come (lots more in fact)

Btw- Matt is having back surgery next week! 🎉 Can't wait for him to be on the mend. He's been laid up since February. 😢 Poor guy. Please send good thoughts his way.

This one got stuck in the pan so we tested it to make sure they hardened up alright, and to take some photos...and just for the fun of it.

It's been a minute since we were last open but we wanted to drop a message to let you know we are working on getting the shop up and running again. Progress is slow going as we are waiting for Matt to have back surgery again.
