Providing First Aid and CPR training through Red Cross Training Courses. Pricing will vary depending on courses given.

Offering blended learning (partial online and in-person) courses and in-person training courses. I felt pulled to undergo my First Aid and CPR training, to be able to teach others these life saving skills. With my own family and friends, I have known this very training to save lives on several occasions. And being a volunteer with a few different organizations, this training is often a requirement

If you have ever wondered why I got into this, it started with volunteering and so many volunteers needing the certification. Then my grandfather Glen, had a cardiac incident. Then my Grandfather Harold, then my uncle Earl and my dad Jeff.

Its started with volunteering and continued because I would hope that if anyone of these men faced a cardiac issue again, someone would be there to save them. Since this began, I have lost three of these four men. The fourth, my dad, is still living and I manage his Healthcare.

You never know whose life you might save by going through this training. Whether its with me or with someone else, get trained!

Do you have flood debris to dispose of? Snohomish County just announced it's Flood Voucher Program which is helpful in reducing the costs of cleanup. More info here: https://snohomishcountywa.gov/207/Solid-Waste

I want to share that my life has taken another devastating loss. After months being back and forth to Providence Hospital, my Uncle Earl passed away on August 2nd.

He played a huge role throughout my life. He was always there for me in a way that no one else ever was. I have never felt more crushed or unsure of myself in my lifetime. As I navigate this loss, I have taken a step back from many things in my life. As the legal things are progressing, I ask that yall keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.

Once things have settled, it will get to teaching classes more regularly. In the meantime, if you would like to make arrangements for a class for a specific group, you can reachout to me directly.

You never know when you will find yourself in an emergency situation.

This weekend, while volunteering, I found myself in two different situations where folks needed help beyond my capabilities. But I was able to identify the need for help and relay that information to first responders. Thus getting them the help they needed before things got any worse. This heat can make something seemingly minor, so much worse and so quickly!

Taking a First Aid and CPR class can be the difference in saving someone else's life! Whether you take one of my classes or someone else's, TAKE THE CLASS!

Gauge ensured a fellow child was rescued from the water and others were able to begin CPR until first responders arrived! I cannot stress enough the importance of having CPR Training! You never know whose life you might save!

We are devastated to learn of the incident in Idaho yesterday. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families of those lost, those still fighting for their lives and their families, and all those effected by this horrendous event.

🚨 NEW UPDATES – MONDAY MORNING (6/30/25) – CANFIELD MOUNTAIN AMBUSH 🚨
Shooter confirmed deceased | No second suspect based on current evidence | Fire at 26 acres and not contained | Misinformation addressed

πŸ”Ή Officials have confirmed there was only one shooter. Although some witnesses initially reported seeing two individuals, evidence found on scene does not support that claim.

πŸ”Ή The suspect was found dead on Canfield Mountain near the ambush site. Investigators believe he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound shortly after the attack. A firearm was recovered nearby, and law enforcement has located what they believe is the suspect’s vehicle.

πŸ”Ή Contrary to statements being pushed by some Washington-based news outlets, law enforcement has not released the suspect’s identity and has not confirmed any connection to Travis Decker. The photos we've seen of the possible suspect are clearly not Decker and no official source has made that connection. Spokane based news sites claimed it's been confirmed 4 people were killed, but that has not been confirmed anywhere officially.

πŸ”Ή The wildfire remains active and uncontained, currently measured at 26 acres. Despite incorrect reports by Spokane media, Fire Web does not list the fire as under control.
Air support was requested overnight, and operations are active today. Water scooping aircraft may be drawing from Hayden Lake, so boaters should expect restrictions and temporary closures.

πŸ”Ή Donations for affected firefighter families are being accepted at Anchored Coffee – Dalton location (πŸ“451 W. Dalton Ave.)
Online donations can be made at πŸ‘‰ redbluefoundation.org
Please bring prepackaged food only – no homemade items.

‼️ Stay out of the area. This remains an active fire and investigation zone. No looky-lous.

πŸ”» FULL INCIDENT RECAP (Chronological Order):

πŸ“ 1:30 PM – Sunday, June 29
Crews responded to a brush fire burning uphill near Nettleton Gulch and Shaw Rd. Trails were closed to the public.

πŸ“ 1:50 PM – Gunfire Erupts
Multiple firefighters and at least one law enforcement officer were shot in a coordinated ambush. Investigators believe the fire was intentionally set to lure in first responders. It was relayed that an officer was shot, but no mention of that has been officially stated in press releases, just what was aired and Officer could mean tank of the Battalion Chief's.

πŸ“ Emergency Response
Law enforcement from across the region responded. A shelter-in-place order was issued and later expanded to include:
➑️ Everything south of Hayden Lake Road
➑️ Everything east of 15th Street in Coeur d’Alene

πŸ“ Suspect Located
Later that evening, SWAT teams found the suspect deceased near the scene. A firearm was found nearby. He is believed to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound shortly after the attack.

πŸ“ Firefighting Efforts
The fire is active and uncontained. Air resources are operating, and water scooping flights are expected on Hayden Lake. Boaters are asked to stay clear.

πŸ“ Graphic Audio Warning
Disturbing scanner audio from the ambush is circulating online. We do not believe airing it at this time is appropriate and ask others to consider removing it out of respect for the families and first responders.

πŸ“ Donation Collection
Community support is being organized through:

It's been awhile since we last posted.

Just a reminder than just learning CPR can make it possible for you to save a life! Whether its with us or someone else, please take the time to learn it!

One of the people I trained back in 2015 or 2016 reached out recently. They took one of my classes (before I started a business doing this), hadn't taken one since, but knew how to respond when a family member found themself having a cardiac incident! THERE LIFE WAS SAVED!!!

You never know who's life you might save one day! Please, please, please take a class! Online is not the same as in person training!
