HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!
As the weather warms up, pests get more active. Ants start foraging, wasps begin building new nests, and rodents that sheltered through winter start exploring.
Now is the perfect time to schedule a spring pest inspection. We’ll check your home top to bottom and put a prevention plan in place before the busy season hits.
Think of it like a spring tune-up — but for your home’s defense against pests.

I started Vector Pest Control because I believe pest control should be done with integrity.
That means:
• Honest assessments — I’ll never upsell you on something you don’t need
• Clear communication — you’ll always know what I’m doing and why
• Standing behind my work — if the problem comes back, so do I
Your home is your biggest investment. You deserve someone who respects that.

QUESTION WE GET A LOT: “I only saw one mouse — do I really need pest control?”
Short answer: Yes.
If you’re seeing one mouse, there are almost certainly more. Mice are nocturnal and sneaky — the one you saw was probably the bravest of the bunch. They reproduce fast (a single pair can produce 60+ offspring in a year), and they leave behind droppings, urine, and damage to insulation and wiring.
One mouse today can become a full infestation by summer. Let’s get ahead of it now.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Here’s some luck for your home — fewer spiders.
Giant house spiders, hobo spiders, and orb weavers can all be found in western Washington. While most are harmless, nobody wants to share their living space with them.
Our spider treatments target the areas where they hide and breed — garages, crawl spaces, eaves, and baseboards — and we treat the insects they feed on too.
Less food for spiders = fewer spiders. Simple as that.

MOISTURE IS THE #1 PEST MAGNET.
Here in the PNW, we get plenty of rain — and that moisture can work its way into crawl spaces, basements, and walls. Pests like carpenter ants, silverfish, and rodents are all drawn to damp environments.
Here’s your prevention checklist:
• Make sure gutters are clear and draining away from your foundation
• Fix any leaky faucets or pipes
• Use a dehumidifier in damp crawl spaces or basements
• Ensure proper ventilation in attics
Control the moisture, control the pests.

FUN FACT FRIDAY: Spiders are actually beneficial — most species eat mosquitoes, flies, and other nuisance insects.
But that doesn’t mean you want them living in your bedroom.
If you’re seeing more spiders than you’re comfortable with, it usually means there’s a food source (other bugs) nearby. Treating the bigger picture is how we reduce spider activity in your home long-term.
Enjoy your weekend! Don’t let them get in your hair…

Ever wonder what a pest control inspection actually looks like?
Here’s what I check every time I visit a home:
• Exterior foundation for cracks and gaps
• Roof eaves and soffits for entry points
• Crawl spaces for moisture and activity
• Attics for droppings, nesting, and damage
• Interior kitchens and bathrooms for signs of insects
A good inspection tells the whole story — and it’s the first step to solving your pest problem the right way.
