Capturing memories through a lens is my heart's work. Faced with the challenge of memory loss, I discovered solace and passion behind the camera lens.
Welcome to Vixey Pix Photography, where memories find their eternal home in the captivating frames of our lens. My journey into the world of photography was not conventional; it was born out of a personal journey with a medical diagnosis that threatened to steal my memories. Each click became a defiance against forgetfulness, a celebration of moments frozen in time. I am a photographer with an ecl

Getting to watch your child flourish in something they love is such an amazing feeling. I'm proud of our son for all he does. ❤️

Roughly 2 years later, and one arm stuck in a sling - I'd say I've improved greatly from my last attempt at this photo but still have plenty to learn.
As a photographer, it's such a neat feeling to randomly stumble across your photos as people's profile pictures! ❤️

Now I can share some photos from Emily Elizabeth's beautiful wedding in October!
Thank you for having me as part of your special day, getting to do this type of work fuels my soul, genuinely.
I look forward to doing more in the future.
Just finished editing 150+ photos out of 3,333 that were taken for a wedding. I'm excited to share them with everyone after the couple have the chance to post them first of course. Stay tuned!

Today would have been my Mother's 52nd birthday.
In honor of her memory, I wanted to share HER photography. She had a preference for fisheye lens, black and white aesthetics, concerts, and landscapes.
I remember her having multiple camera as a teenager, one that seemed to have an odd ball-like flash that was a built-in fisheye lens I do not believe she ever got her photos off of, a Panasonic DMC-TZ4, and a Nikon that I've yet to find pictures from that I do not believe she used much at all.
All of these photos are from her Panasonic straight off the SD cards unedited. The docks and city line of Corpus Christi in 2009, the band Anvil live at Emo's in Austin TX of January 2010, Colorado Belle of Nevada April 2017, San Diego California coast line 2014, and Gorillaz in Austin TX October 2010.
While I didn't get to share my passion for photography with her while she was with us, I feel finding her old photos just days before her birthday is a way the universe is giving me an opportunity to connect with her on it even though she's gone.
Happy birthday, Mom. We miss you.
