The Sullivan Police Department presently has 19 sworn officers and 7 civilian employees. Our police personnel are trained to provide a wide variety of law enforcement s

ervices and are available 24 hours a day to assist in your law enforcement needs. We are interested in what you think about concerning our police services and invite you to share your thoughts, concerns and ideas with us.

UPDATE: in reference to the reports of a man with a machete near the elementary. The man has been located and determined to not be a safety concern. He was hunting mushrooms and didn't realize he had crossed onto the school property.

Sgt. Griffith was a graduate of Sullivan, a dedicated officer, and an active member of his community. We will always remember his sacrifice. Rest easy brother.

Today we honor and remember Det. Sgt. Mason Griffith. On March 12, 2023, Det. Sgt. Mason Griffith was shot and killed in the line of duty.

Det. Sgt. Griffith served with the Hermann Police Department for over 12 years and served part-time as Chief of the Rosebud Police Department and served as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for the Gasconade County Sheriff's Office. He left behind his wife and two sons.

We will never forget the life and legacy of Det. Sgt. Mason Griffith.
