Ok ok ok, we really back now! Been having so much fun getting ready for fall, so we thought we’d share some cool pieces from our most recent project!!!!

Our sweet client (and friend) wanted to incorporate some blues for fall, to tie into her gorgeous French country home. She has an amazing collection of fall and Thanksgiving decor, so we used ALL of her things, but updated her fall florals.

Which brings me to my next thought... did you know that Capri could do your holiday florals, or even florals in general 🍂🌻

Does anybody else just feel soooo cozy around their fireplace?

The fireplace & mantel of a room are one of our favorite places to decorate. A lot of times it’s the centerpiece of the entire home. We may have gone a little overboard with the candle sticks, but we love the way it turned out! Bringing major farmhouse vibes.

S W I P E ——> for a before of these office shelves. We LOVE a good shelf cleanup!

Like we’ve said before, shelves can be tough. But they’re the perfect place to add statement pieces, like this crystal & horse silhouette, or sentimental photos and heirlooms.

Sometimes just cleaning up your shelving can make the biggest difference! Try designing with a consistent style in mind, with pieces that compliment each other and that are not too far fetched!

It’s time for T I P • T U E S D A Y ! ! !

No headboard, NO PROBLEM. Buying beds and/or bed frames can be expensive, but also unnecessary. You can always find some unused decor to use in place of a headboard.

What we did here:
1. Found antique windows, previously unused decor stored in the garage.
2. Placed them just high enough so that the pillows would overlap.
3. Added a magnolia leaf wreath to bring the two windows together.

We love a good antique. We bought this 1960s *color* tv from an estate sale for $15. It probably weighed 100 pounds before we gutted it and turned it into this awesome blast from the past. Man, I wish we would have bought the both of them.

Good morning from the KD house. I mean really... is there anything better than a freshly made bed?

I wanna get cozy right now!

Somebody didn’t make their bed 🥴 but that’s ok, we’ll make it for you!

This room was a real challenge for us... it was over crowded with furniture and the shelves were over crowded with very sentimental items from the owner.

We had two rules to follow from the Hickory House client: use the furniture that her late dad made, and keep as many as the decorations as possible!

A little reorganizing of shelves and a furniture shift later, we made this room work! And isn’t her dad’s furniture beautiful? IT WORKS! And it can work for you too. We never want to push for a client to get rid of anything that means so much to them.

Moving furniture around can give you space to add cool pieces as well, like the globe artwork that we found from !
