The Darrin L. Thorpe scholarship committee will be accepting applicant essays from those who will be entering into their first year of college. Essays will be accepted beginning now until July 30th.

The Darrin L. Thorpe scholarship was started by our Apostle Dr. Brenda T. Parrish in remembrance of her son the late Darrin L. Thorpe Sr. First year college students have been awarded scholarships since 2016.

Darrin was a supporter of youth and was known as one who loved to help others and give. He literally gave the shoes off of his feet to someone who needed them.

Those who are interested can submit an essay stating why you deserve the scholarship and include evidence of college acceptance. Please send via email to [email protected].

The scholarship will be awarded in September during our 9:45 a.m. morning service. You must be in attendance to receive the scholarship. Please share!!

God was truly glorified today through our youth Praise Dancers! Their ministry was absolutely phenomenal and deeply anointed. 🔥🔥🔥
The anointing flowing from each one of them was ordained by God. God is using them in a mighty way, and their passion for praise dancing ministered to everyone in the room.
​God has placed a heavy anointing on their lives, and this is only the beginning. God is using them in a powerful way to touch lives and shift atmospheres.
Let’s continue to cover them in prayer, encourage them, and celebrate God moving through them!
