Broken tree. Pinned and glued first. Custom stainless plates and screws used on each side. Made at our machine shop . Then a fiberglass wrap over entire area. Result is an area stronger than the original wood. Type of plate or repair depends on where the break is or stress related factors. Never had one of ours fail in 39 years.
