I finished this sweet log cabin. 🥰👏 Thankfully, it was only 2 weeks late for Miss. Rose’s 5th birthday! I just love how it turned out! I definitely did not expect it to take 10 months to finish! 😝
There is still some time to get a quilt if you have had your eyes on something! All my fabric is sold, which is amazing! I’m so happy it is going to those who will really love it and be blessed by it!

Yay for most of my fabric being sold!! 🥰👏There is one organic cotton scrap bag, 4 boxes of large scrap batting boxes, as well as a few more quilts! It is so great to be able to downsize my inventory! Still time to get a special gift for those you love for Christmas.

What an exciting week while the kids were on vacation at Virginia Beach with Grandma! I was able to fill 6 shoe boxes for clean and re-organize the sewing room/office, we went on multiple dates, BOUGHT A TRUCK, and sold crib quilts and fabric! 👏🥳 I basically didn’t make food all week! 😂 We had cereal for supper and barely ate because of all the work we were doing! The house is feeling better! We even got pictures hung up that laid in waiting for like 4 years!
How was your week?

Awww, these sweet Classic Crib quilts have found their new home! 🥹🥰 I am so excited for the new owners. May they be blessed with loads of snuggles!
Today is the last day of our WEEK long vacation from the kids. 🫢 My mom had them at her timeshare in Virginia Beach! We have been super busy this week! Cleaning, re-organizing, putting up things that have been around for years waiting, buying a truck, and going on Facebook marketplace for all sorts of stuff! 😂👏 It’s been busy, but that is just the way we like to vacation!

There has been some confusion about these scrap batting boxes so I wanted to get some more pictures and details to make it more easier to know what is in each box.
These batting boxes are leftover from the sides from the longarm quilting process, most are strips that are 96” long. I love using them to join the pieces together to make a larger piece for another quilt or for smaller projects like zipper bags/pin cushions/ wall hangings.
Box #1 is a mix of Hobbs 100% premium cotton, 80% cotton/20% wool batting. The pieces vary but most of the strips are 96” long.
Box #2 is all Hobbs 100% premium cotton batting. The pieces are large strips most are around 96” long.
Box #3 is all Hobbs 80% cotton/20% wool batting. The pieces are mostly large strips around 96” long.
Box #4 is a mix of Hobbs batting- 100% premium cotton, 80% cotton/20% wool, 100% organic cotton, 100% wool and 100% polyester. This box has more variety but smaller pieces than the other boxes.

The beginning days of Delightfully Quilted! It’s so crazy to think it started 4 years ago in our little home in WA after Rose was born and then a year later Richard was born. Definitely lots of sleepless nights and working 40-50 hour weeks on top of being a mom and a homeschooling one at that. 🤪
Despite having to close up my shop, I feel the work that I did all those years was not only creating beautiful quilts but also developing in myself many different types of disciplines that I wouldn’t have been able to get without starting a business. So I am grateful.
I could say I failed, but I actually succeeded in other areas that I didn’t know were possible. I love that in life we get to decide how we are going to define what happens to us. Seemingly difficult situations or trials can actually be for our good. We get to decide what the takeaway will be.
And this was for my good. 🥰💗
What thing in your past do you need to redefine? (Here’s your deep thought for the week.😝)
