Protecting Our Water, Protecting Our Health. 💧🛡️
I am proud to announce that HB938 has been APPROVED!
PFAS, often called "forever chemicals," have no place in our drinking water. This legislation takes a decisive stand for public safety by requiring industrial users to monitor and report PFAS levels in our wastewater systems. By identifying these chemicals at the source, we can better protect our environment and ensure our communities have access to clean, safe water for generations to come.
Clean water is a right, not a privilege. We’re holding industry accountable and keeping Virginia healthy! 🌊✨

Big news for Virginia’s health! 📣
HB1337 is officially APPROVED. We are taking direct aim at medical deserts by:
✅ Identifying areas in desperate need of health services.
✅ Expediting the review process for vital medical projects.
✅ Removing barriers to care for underserved communities.
No more long drives for basic care. Let’s build a healthier Virginia together. 🏥⚖️

Suffolk is for families, not for fear. 🚫
I am standing firmly with our community in opposition to the proposed ICE office lease in our city. Our resources should be used to build up our schools, infrastructure, and mental health services—not to facilitate the separation of families.
Let’s keep Suffolk a safe, welcoming home for everyone.

I’m proud to announce that HB942 has officially been APPROVED.
For too long, parents have faced the fear of losing their children or being denied visitation based solely on the legal consumption of authorized substances. This bill ensures that custody decisions are based on the safety and well-being of the child—not on outdated stigmas regarding legal behaviors.
We are making sure our social services system remains fair, consistent, and focused on keeping families together.

Big win for VA workers! 📣
HB1124 is officially APPROVED. We're launching a targeted study on the impact of autonomous vehicles on our workforce.
Before the tech takes over, we’re making sure stakeholders—from labor reps to manufacturers—have a seat at the table. We’re building a future that protects our economy and our people. 🛣️👷♂️⚖️

Efficient government starts with clarity. 🏛️ I am proud to share that HB 940, which I introduced as Chief Patron, has officially been signed into law! ✍️
This bill updates the City of Suffolk’s charter to ensure the City Council structure is accurately reflected and management responsibilities are clear. While charter updates might seem technical, they are essential for a government that is accountable, modern, and ready to serve its residents effectively.
Proud to partner with the City of Suffolk to get this across the finish line! 🤝📈

Session is over, but the results are just starting.
Here are the 2026 stats. Every single bill I’ve worked on—from the 5 I led as Chief Patron to the 21 with Chief Co-Patrons and the 226 I supported as a Co-Patron—was advanced with one thing in mind: making the Commonwealth and House District 84 stronger. 🏛️📈
It’s about delivering results for Franklin, Chesapeake, Suffolk, and Isle of Wight. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together. Let’s keep moving forward!
