We had such a fun-filled time celebrating with egg hunts, crafts, and lots of giggles! 🥚🎨💛 Our little bunnies brought so much joy and smiles all week long.

This month, our team focused on gross motor development during our professional development.

Gross motor skills involve the large muscles used for movements like running, jumping, climbing, and balancing. These skills help build a strong core, which is essential for posture, coordination, and overall body control.

A strong foundation in gross motor skills is also important for developing fine motor skills like writing, cutting, and using utensils.

We explored fun, age-appropriate ways to support these skills in the classroom and are excited to continue incorporating them into our daily routines! ✨

🍎 This Week’s Spotlight: Ms. Candice

We are so excited to highlight Ms. Candice, a truly valued member of our Learning Tree Academy family! 💛

Ms. Candice has been with us for 6 years and holds her CDA (Child Development Associate). In addition to being an incredible teacher, she also serves as our Director Designee, always stepping up wherever she is needed.

She consistently goes above and beyond for our school community—whether she’s planning and hosting fun events like Prom and Graduation, lending a helping hand to her team, or bringing in creative materials (sometimes even handmade by her wonderful mom!) to make her classroom extra special.

What truly makes Ms. Candice so special is the connection she builds with each child. She brings so much energy, creativity, and warmth into her classroom, making learning feel exciting and fun. Whether she’s leading an activity, getting silly during playtime, or celebrating each child’s accomplishments, she creates an environment where children feel happy, confident, and loved. It’s no surprise that the kids absolutely adore her and look forward to seeing her each day!

Ms. Candice is the definition of a team player—always willing to help, share, and support those around her. We are so lucky to have her as part of our team! ✨

Today is Ms. Olha’s last day at Learning Tree Academy, and we want to take a moment to share how much she will be missed.

Ms. Olha has been such a special part of our LTA family. Her kindness, warmth, and caring heart made such a difference in the lives of the children here. The kids absolutely adore her — many of them never wanted to leave her classroom! Her bright smile and gentle nature helped create a classroom where children felt safe, happy, and loved.

We are excited for her as she begins a new chapter, but she will always be a part of the LTA family. We wish her nothing but the best and know she will continue to make a difference wherever she goes. ❤️
