A GREAT Day for Public Golf!
This weekend, Gov. Newsom signed AB 1954 into law. The bill prohibits illegitimate tee time brokering on municipal golf courses in California. Known as the “PAR” Act (Protecting Access to Reservations), AB 1954 was authored by Assemblymember Chris Ward (D-San Diego) and sponsored by the California Alliance for Golf, an SCGA-managed coalition of advocacy-minded golf leadership associations.
