A Steady Stream of Need đź’™
Every day, families come through our doors looking for help with one of life’s most basic necessities ! food !!
The faces may change, but the need remains constant. Parents are doing their best, children are growing, and many households are struggling to keep groceries on the table. Thanks to the generosity of our community, Elev8Hope is able to provide food, diapers, and essential items to families when they need it most.

Elev8Hope is proud to announce the appointment of Jade Smith to our Board of Directors.
Jade has been a longtime donor, supporter, and advocate of our mission.
Over the years, she has generously contributed her time, resources, and encouragement to Elev8Hope.
As her passion for serving our community continued to grow, it became clear that her desire was not only to support our work, but to help lead it from our boardroom.
A Martin County native, Jade is the owner of Unearthed Rentals and has spent more than 19 years in the special event industry.
She is married to Jackson, a Martin County Fire Rescue Captain, and is the proud mother of Chase, who serves in the United States Coast Guard, and Capri.
Jade is a simple, family-oriented woman who enjoys creating memorable events, boating, lobstering, and vacationing with her family.
Her heart for service, strong community ties, and dedication to helping others make her a wonderful addition to the Elev8Hope Board of Directors.
Please join us in welcoming Jade Smith to the Elev8Hope family.
We are excited for the leadership, compassion, and experience she brings to our organization.

We have been addressing the situation of a single mother with 6 children. She has been raising her kids on her own with minimal assistance from her partner .
Recently, she has been facing food insecurity and is at risk of losing her apartment. Although she has had a well-paying job for many years, managing everything on her own has become overwhelming.
With her lease nearing its end, she is anxious about the possibility of eviction. She urgently needed support to bridge the gap until her lease expired in just a month and a half, allowing her to relocate without losing her security deposit.
During our meeting, I reviewed her income and verified some documents, and to my surprise, I discovered that she is employed by one of our sponsors who generously supports us. This sponsor had recently made a contribution to Elev8hope. It felt only natural to view this as a divine opportunity to extend that sponsorship to their employee in need. After all, what would we be if we didn’t support the employees of the businesses that support us?
And just like that, everything came full circle.
Her little man hugged me hard , and I in turn gave him snacks, toys and a doll
Ps. We do offer assistance with entrance rental costs for “our” housing units; however, it's important to note that the funds in question were provided by her employer, who authorized the allocation to support their own employee
Love thy neighbor !

Meet my friend Vivian, the embodiment of resilience and transformation.
Since February 17, 2005, she has been on a journey of long-term recovery from addiction.
Vivian once faced the challenges of drug use, making choices that led her down a difficult path. She often discarded pieces of her life without fully understanding the consequences.
However, she carries no shame about her past. For those who know her, she is an open book, sharing her experiences with honesty and pride.
Vivian has embraced her journey and continues to evolve every single day. Her history with substance use does not define her; it’s merely a chapter in her life story that offered valuable lessons about who she never wants to be again.
Addiction is an equal opportunity affliction; it doesn’t discriminate.
We need to stop treating addiction as a taboo subject.
It’s time to have real conversations about it.
The impact of addiction is devastating, affecting not just those who struggle, but also their families and friends.
When we remain silent and pretend everything is fine, we allow the problem to fester, causing more harm and destruction.
People are suffering, and lives are being lost. We must speak up and share our stories. It's essential. Recovery does happen !
It’s never too late to turn your life around, and Vivian is living proof of that.
Love you Vivian.
Honored to call you friend
